BISBEE'S WELCOMES A NEW DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

The Bisbee’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fund announced today the addition of Jordyn Bisbee to the organization’s management team. Jordyn, a Texas resident, will serve as the Director of Development. Her duties will include communication with donors, sponsors and media. BISBEE’S HOSTS THEIR 2nd CATCH-AND-RELEASE RHINO VITA DART EXPERIENCE FOR CONSERVATION

As we’ve all heard, Elvis did in fact leave the building eons ago, but this month, he resurfaced in the African wilderness to join the Bisbee’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fund (BF&WCF) along with Daggaboy Safaris of South Africa as they hosted their second “catch-and-release” conservation vita dart experience for a white rhino. In what was an auction fundraiser, the infamous Chicago area based offshore fishing team called “Ten Brothers” won the privilege for the prized hunting opportunity. Self described as “the most dynamic fishing team in the world”, the Ten Brothers team has won approx. $2 million in cash prizes in past Bisbee’s offshore fishing tournaments in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

BISBEE’S HOSTS CATCH-AND-RELEASE RHINO HUNT FOR CONSERVATION - May 12, 2018

On May 12, 2018, Bisbee’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fund (BF&WCF) along with Daggaboy Safaris of South Africa hosted a “catch-and-release” conservation dart-hunt for a white rhino. In what was an auction fundraiser, Canadian businessman Brian Walley and Texas businessman Luis Zumaeta teamed up and their winning $21,000. USD bid won them the opportunity to successfully hunt and dart a white rhino at a reserve just outside the town of Polokwane, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The exact location of the rhino reserve is being withheld for rhino security purposes. All proceeds from the hunt go towards BF&WCF’s wildlife conservation efforts.

Nearly 800 anglers and guests joined in a remarkable demonstration of support of the Bisbee’s Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund’s first-ever charity event benefiting the projects that were at the heart of the organization when it was established nearly five years ago. (CNN)—The recent illegal killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe has understandably generated passionate and emotional responses from around the world.

I agree with the common sentiment that the circumstances around Cecil's death are abhorrent and those responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I also think it's unfortunate that legitimate hunters are given a public black eye by this case.   Read More

Green Bongo Hunt for Conservation | Feb 20, 2015

Plano, Texas - Congratulations to Chip Wagner for winning the first ever Catch & Release Conservation Bongo Hunt through our online auction with a bid of $23,000. The hunt was conducted by Bisbee’s Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund (Bisbee Fund). It took place outside of Uvalde, Texas at the renowned Morani River Ranch this past Monday thru Wednesday with the successful encounter happening on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Typically hunters must travel to Central Africa to find the elusive bongo which is among the largest of the African antelope species, and even when they do, they are not always successful. Chip only had to travel to South Texas for this rare experience.    Read More
